Services We Provide:
Personal Support Day
Personal Support Day services provide individuals the freedom to live in their own home with up to 24 hours-a-day assistance from a support worker or workers.
The support worker provides companionship and personal care and may assist or perform activities of daily living. The support worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe living environment while providing the necessary supervision to ensure the ultimate safety of the individual. The support worker will also provide increased ability to access community resources.
Personal Care Assistance
Personal Care Assistance is a service that assists a recipient with eating and meal preparation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other self-care activities of daily living. This service may also include activities such as assisting with bed making and vacuuming when these activities are essential to the health and safety of the individual. This service is provided on a one-on-one basis. This service also includes nonmedical care and socialization and may provide access to community-based activities that have therapeutic benefits.
Companion Services
Companion services or also known as Life Skills consist of non-medical care, supervision, and socialization activities. This service must be provided in direct relation to the achievement of the recipient’s goals per his/her support plan. The purpose of these activities should be defined as activities most likely to result in increased ability to access community resources. Examples of acceptable companion activities are volunteering, going to the library, shopping for groceries, and other activities of the individual’s personal interests.
Respite Care
Respite care is a service that provides supportive care and supervision to a recipient when the primary caregiver is unable to perform these duties due to a planned brief absence, an emergency absence, or when the caregiver is available, but not physically able to care for the recipient for a brief period.
Residential Habilitation
Residential habilitation is services provided for individuals in need of long-term care and have been placed in a group home setting.
Bell Caring Services Corp. have three group homes in the Pasco area. Each home will house six individuals and provides a safe and comfortable environment. The staff work with individuals to help accomplish their goals, participate in community events and offer constant engagement. They also assist with daily living services such as personal hygiene, feeding, and medication administration.
At Bell Caring Services Corp. we look after transportation to and from medical and dental appointments. We provide frequent off-sight entertainment and activities of their choice. Weekly cooking classes and arts and crafts. We work with dieticians to make sure that the individuals are being served nutritious meals.
The Bell Caring staff who work under Residential Habilitation serve as an advocate for Group Home residents and provide 24-hour supervision. All our staff meets the mandated APD requirements, which include being certified with CPR and First Aid, Medication Administration, as well as on-going training throughout the year.
Supported Living Coaching
Supported Living Coaching services provide training and assistance, in a variety of activities, to support recipients who are living independently. These services are provided by qualified supported living coaches to a recipient residing in a living setting meeting the requirements set forth in rule 656-5.004, F.A.C.
Supported Living Coaches assist individuals with the retention or improvement of skills related to daily living. These skills may include the following: personal hygiene, grooming, household chores, meal preparation, shopping, personal finances, and other social skills necessary to enable a recipient to reside independently.
